Natalie is a proud resident of Redhill and since being elected to the Council for the Redhill West Ward alongside Julian Ellacott and David Pay, she has continually emphasised the importance of Redhill to be given the attention it deserves as the Borough's largest town. Since becoming the Executive Member for Property and Regeneration, Natalie has been able to drive these long term plans forward to implementation.
Natalie's main focus has been bringing forward the Council's plans within the town centre with the joint Warwick Quadrant and Sainsbury's redevelopment, programmed to be finished in Spring next year. Within the next few months, the public realm in London Road will also be transformed with planters, trees and the reduction and modernisation of the stair canopy. Ambitious plans for Marketfield Way with a new cinema, flats, restaurants and quality retail shops. Delivery under budget, of an enhanced Memorial Park with much improved sports and games facilities, a Pavilion Cafe, sensory garden and community orchard.
Natalie has promoted regeneration elsewhere in the Borough with a new leisure centre and community facilities in Tadworth – developed on time and under budget. A community hub, retail and food outlets for Merstham are also scheduled to open in June this year.
As a committed local resident and experienced Councillor, Natalie would like to continue to represent the Redhill West Ward residents in all ways, with large schemes outlined above, but also with the smaller but no less important issues of parking outside Schools, litter clearance, tree replanting and contentious planning problems.
Any spare time Natalie has is spent with her husband, family and two young grandsons.
