The General Election results saw Crispin Blunt re-elected as our Member of Parliament for the Reigate and Banstead constituency.
Crispin's majority (of 22,334) was up 3.4% from the 2010 election results, and he garnered 29,151 votes (which meant he had a 56.8% share of the vote). Second place came the UKIP candidate (on 6,817) and 13.3% of the vote.
Locally the Conservative candidates also secured a superb result, with their best result (40 seats and 49% of the vote) in over 5 years.
