Cllr Derek Allcard (South Park & Woodhatch)

“I am Derek Allcard, and I have lived in the area for 18 years with my wife Gillian, just down the other end of Lonesome Lane.

“I’m an engineer by profession, and having recently retired I have the time and enthusiasm to work as your Councillor if elected in May.

“Having previously been a Councillor in the Horsham district, I know that the role is not easy. I believe that Reigate is a great place to live, and that it’s now time for me to put something back into maintaining our local quality of life.

“If elected I promise to represent all of the residents in our ward, to be available to listen to any problems and issues that may arise, and to do my best to help deal with these.

“I look forward to working as a team with our two other excellent Conservative Councillors; both Stephen and Simon put a lot into looking after the interests of South Park and Woodhatch, as well as for the Borough in general. I believe I would make a good third member of the team.”
