A lifelong Surrey resident, I have lived in Reigate since 1980. I am married to David, and we have one adult son.
An experienced office administrator by profession, my working life began at the Canadian High Commission in London and then, after marriage, I started working locally in and around Reigate and Redhill.
Throughout my life, I have been heavily involved with voluntary work which supports both individuals and groups and, as a past chairman of a local Reigate residents’ association, I am well-versed in current national and emerging local planning policies and have frequently spoken for residents at Planning Committee meetings and Planning Inspectorate hearings.
Working to both preserve and enhance Reigate’s character over the last 18 years, first, as Secretary then Chairman of a planning consultative group and, more recently, as a Borough Councillor, I seek your support to ensure that Reigate retains its vitality, identity and unique charm now and in the future.
