George Curry - Tadworth & Walton

My name is  George Curry and I am standing for election as the Conservative candidate for Tadworth and Walton in the forthcoming ward By-Election on May 4th.

I live in Walton with my wife and two young daughters, and with extended family close by I am especially keen to ensure the special character of our villages  is preserved. We are all fortunate to live in a  thriving area with such a wonderful community spirit, I have experienced this first hand through my role as Chairman of the Walton Forum where I have  organised a number of community and school events  in Tadworth & Walton. I have been successful in raising funds for community projects, and used the skills learned through my career in Project Management to co-ordinate enhancement and regeneration of our local resources for the benefit of us all.

If elected as your councillor, my aim will be to further develop the character and amenities we currently enjoy, working closely with our  two  existing councillors Victor Broad and Rachel Turner, as well as our local businesses, to ensure Tadworth and Walton become even more special  places in which to live and work.
