Daniel Hannan MEP

Daniel Hannan is a writer and journalist, and has been Conservative MEP for South East England since 1999. He speaks French and Spanish and loves Europe, but believes that the European Union is making its constituent nations poorer, less democratic and less free.

Richard Ashworth MEP

Richard is the Conservative Spokesman on Agriculture and sits on the European Parliament's Agriculture committee. In addition, he sits on the Policy Challenges committee and the Budget's committee. He was Deputy Leader of the UK Conservative delegation to the European Parliament from November 2008 to November 2010 and served as Chief Whip from January to November 2007. He was first elected in the European elections of 2004 and was reelected in 2009.
